i'm an aspiring computer science educator passionate about making complex concepts accessible to students.
my goal is to contribute to the next generation of computer scientists through effective teaching, educational research, and developing curriculum strategies that enhance the learning experience.
as an undergraduate student, i'm actively taking advantage of the opportunity to learn from this unique perspective that i won't have again. i am trying to absorb works, what doesn't, and what i can do to improve the education system when my time comes, all while ensuring my grades are up to par with my goals.
currently, i am the president of the [ aztec ai club ], chairman of sdsu's ctrlcoalition of tech representatives & leadership, and a member of the [ sdsu acm chapter ].

→ guide for fischertechnik factory 4.0
worked alongside a team under the guidance of a professor to create a guide for the fischertechnik factory 4.0.
the guide was created to help further development for future use as a baseline for curriculum for an internet of things course.

academic work
→ set cover + ai problem research
researching with a professor to find a solution to the set cover problem which utilizes ai techniques to solve the problem in equal or better time than a traditional greedy algorithm.
→ instructional student assistant experience
assisted in computer architecture/organization & intro assembly language course
ta'd for ~80 students over a semester. the role put me in a position to teach concepts to students, grade assignments while providing useful feedback, and offer feedback to the professor for curriculum development and improve teaching practices!

as president of the aztec ai club, i am leading an amazing group of students to foster a club that is focused on learning all things ai. as president, i am responsible for hosting meetings, fostering an space for students to learn, and testing lecture strategies through workshops.
